Waiting

Textbooks sorted. I have ordered everything, and found the Ucroo Marketplace has saved me a couple of hundred dollars on these. Easier than searching the internet and doing multiple comparisons.

I am starting to realise how much time my study had actually taken up, and am getting rather bored waiting for the beginning of the next phase, so I have taken on LOTS of extra work (hows that for the use of a 4 letter word) to try and amuse myself for a couple of weeks.

The only issue I have is that I am spending more money because I have less to do. Oh well learning patience. Two and a half weeks till certification of grades and just over a week before the next semester subjects open on Moodle.

I have also discovered that the bonus of Ucroo is that people can ask you questions, and I was glad to have been able to help out a couple of others that are just starting STEPS. Winning!

Certification of Grades

I am not a patient person, as I usually like to get in and get things done, so waiting for certification of grades is the worst time of the semester for me.

In the mean time I am taking on as much extra work as I can - not sure why! Must be going a little more nuts than usual.

Have my subjects and textbooks sorted for next term, so will have lots of reading ahead in the next couple of weeks.

Off to dinner tonight for International Rural Women's Day.

Apart from that I am actually missing studying - starting to think I may need some psychological help :)

I would like to say a huge thank you for all the help I have received, from everyone, especially considering the death of my father. And although it is never a good time to lose a parent (even as a parent/grandparent yourself), it certainly did not make my restating nightmare any easier.

Of special note is: Martin Turner - appreciate the course content. All of this was real-world relevant.

Rae Horton - Feedback received was fantastic.

Now I get to work my butt off for the next couple of weeks, before putting my head down again for the sheer fun of it (hopefully) and do some easier courses - Foundations of Business Computing, Organisational Behaviour and Introduction to Management - I say easier as I appear to have covered a lot of this sort of content when completing my Diploma.


Who knows, I may even find some time to continue the Blog (which was a learning experience in itself). I am thinking it will be interesting to read over the information when I have finally finished - ONLY another 29 subjects to go - my degree!

Last Weeks

Well this has been the most intense semester - and my first - so far.

Lots of amazing things to learn - and not learn as the case may be.

Despite the intensity I have thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses, and have have major brain explosions doing this one.

Here's hoping I get a pass for all 3.

May even keep this Blog going, although not sure I have too much to discuss.
